The difference is the same as reading about something and getting your hands dirty with it.

You could say that people who go to universities and write essays are educated, but those who go into trades with specialized skills are the nitty gritty hands on types.

Our system currently designs these as two separate entities, and after we finish a basic standardized educational program for the first 17 years of our lives, we’re faced with a massive decision of “where to go”.

Because of this system, we assume that we need to lock in to what we are passionate about and turn that into our career. Then to explain it, scientists say we have a left and right brain for creativity and for logic.

I did not go into a specialized trade so I cannot speak for that group of people, but I had eight years of retailing experience before I found my white-collar career to pad my opinions.

Due to the size of these subjects taught in our higher colleges we feel the need to break apart into these majors and then split those further into arts and science degrees, it becomes immensely complicated!

You can’t learn everything. but you can learn from every experience in your life and think about how you can apply those skills to other parts of your life in completely original ways.

You can be whoever you want to be, and do whatever you want to do, therefore happiness is a choice.

I just wish I could decide on it.
